Meet the expert doctors and nurses available to you at the Parkmore Medical Centre. Doctors on staff at Parkmore Medical include Dr Nicholas Demediuk, Dr Danny Thuan Le, Dr Ken Loh, Dr Duncan Savery, Dr Aranka Zallmann, Dr Sarah Concepcion, Dr Jacqui Barry, Dr Haldun Tokman and Dr Alphonsa William as well as our GP Registrars.

Dr Nicholas Demediuk

Graduated from  the University of Melbourne in 1976. His qualifications include M.B.,B.S.(Melb), F.R.A.C.G.P, B.Ed(LaTrobe), D.R.A.N.Z.C.O.G. In the past he has been on the visiting medical staff of Springvale, Dandenong, Mordialloc and Moorabbin hospitals and has been the Chelsea Medical Officer of Health.

He has been an Honorary Member of the Police Association, a participant in the Red Cross Asylum Seeks Assistance Scheme, a Clinical Assistant at the Monash Medical Centre and a Clinical Lecturer at the Monash Medical Centre and a member of the Spastic Society and Amnesty International.

He has is an accredited shared care obstetrics practitioner to Dandenong, The Mercy, The Royal Womens and Sandringham Hospitals and to the Monash Medical Centre. He is accredited to various private hospitals including The Valley Private, South Eastern Private, Como, Linacre, Cabrini and Masada.

Dr Demediuk is interested in Aviation Medicine (he is a member of the Aviation Medical Society and is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority) and Diving Medicine and has interests in Occupational/Industrial Medicine, Obstetrics, Vasectomy and Sports Medicine. He is also a Forensic Physician (‘Police Surgeon’).

Dr Danny Thuan Le

Graduated from University of Adelaide in 1995. He did his internship at the Modbury Hospital in South Australia and was rewarded with the Ronald Gray award for the best intern that year. He then moved to Melbourne to undergo his general practice training with placements at Austin Hospital, Bendigo, Myrtleford and Geelong and completed his Fellowship in 2000 (F.R.A.C.G.P). He has been at the clinic since February 1999, and has special interests in Family Medicine, Child, adolescent and young adults health, and minor procedures.

Dr Ken Loh

Graduated from the University of New South WaIes in 1996 with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) and Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology (BSc). He subsequently completed a 3-year Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, which was awarded to him in 2001. His special interests include Family Medicine, Children’s Health and Palliative Care.

Dr Duncan Savery

Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992, then worked at Geelong and Western Hospitals, also obtaining a certificate in Women’s Health. He then spent one year working in England, followed by one year in Katherine in Aboriginal health. Duncan is a strong believer in General Practice and enjoys managing the broad diversity of health issues that a person may experience from birth onwards.

Dr Aranka Zallmann

Graduated from the University of J.E. (Purkyne) in the Czech Republic where she commenced her post graduate training in Pediatrics, which was interrupted by migrating to Australia. After passing all parts of the Australian Medical Council examinations her qualifications were fully recognized and she started working at Box Hill Hospital and later at Dandenong Hospital. She joined general practice full time in 1997 her special interests are women’s health, pediatrics, preventative medicine and adolescent health.

Dr Sarah Concepcion

Dr Concepcion completed her MBBS at Monash University in 2001. She states her reason for becoming a Dr as having a love of working with a variety of people. Dr Concepcion atteneded Nazareth College in Noble Park where she was awarded a certificate of distinction for academic excellence.

Dr Jacqui Barry

Dr Barry completed her MBBS at Monash University in 1994 and has worked at PMC since 2007.

Dr Haldun Tokman

Graduated from the University of Istanbul in Turkey (1987). After spending 5 years in General Practice, he migrated to Australia in 1992 and passed all parts of the Australian Medical Council examinations. He then went back to Turkey where he started training in Diagnostic Radiology in 1995. After completing his training, he remigrated to Australia in 2000. His qualifications were fully recognised and currently working as a full time GP registrar in PMC.

Dr Alphonsa William

Dr William completed her MBBS at Sindh University of Pakistan in 1981. She is PMC's newest Dr and commenced working at the Centre this year. Dr Alphonsa spent sixteen years of her career working closely with Mother Teresa.

GP Registrars

Are often on staff.  We are an accredited training practice and have one or two fully qualified doctors completing their specialist general practice training at Parkmore Medical Centre. They rotate every six months during their four year post-graduate training.

Dr Shirley Tang is the current register at PMC. She completed a Batchelor of Medicine at the Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences in China in 1985. After being accepted into the Training Program in 2008, Dr Tang spent a few months at Southern Health finishing her hospital term and before that was a Locum Accident and Emergency Registrar at Frankston Hosipital. Dr Tang commenced working at PMC in 2009.
